Randall and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson), were able to attend Madison’s event, but not physically. Randall and Beth had previously traveled to New Orleans to find out more about Randall’s biological mom, Laurel (Jennifer C. Holmes).
Randall called Kevin on his way home in episode 7 and 6 to end their feud. Kevin, who was feigning concern over his pregnant fiancee had hung up. Randall intervened to keep Madison company in the hospital.
“I spoke with Kevin. Randall and Beth told Madison that he hopes to reach you. “We are still driving from New Orleans. We are available to deliver food to you if necessary. We can also talk to you on the phone if you wish. You’re family.”
Toby and Kate were preparing for their own birth. The couple met through an adoption agency at the start of This Is Us Season 5. Ellie Funke, the mom, linked with Kate and Toby. There were still some worries.
Toby and Kate continued to move forward with their adoption. Kate then called Kevin to show that Ellie was being forced. “We are only waiting for Jack’s babysitter to arrive. Kate stated that we would then travel to San Pedro to meet Ellie at the hospital.
